What can I do with Rose petals?

Hi,

I have a lot of really lovely roses in my garden, and would love to do something with the petals, I kno it's possible to dry them, but wonder if there was a way of using them for rose water, or rose oil, any suggestions welcome, thanks

What can I do with Rose petals?
hint to your husband or bf that you want a romantic evening with rose petals in th ebathtub. Thats so romantic
Reply:There are so many things you could do with roses!

Dried petals smell absolutley beautiful! You could sprinkle them in your bathtub for a relaxing evening. You could put them around your yard if you wanted.

With roses you could take some in to your house and put them in a vase. You could use them to decorate a number of things. If you are going to use roses though, you have to be careful. The end of the stem seals up very quickly once you cut it, so you have to get them in water, fast. Its always good to cut the bottom of the stem again, right before you put them in water. Dead roses actually smell stronger than live ones because the are leaking all their frangrance.

You decide what you want to do with them, and hopefully it turns out perfect. :-)

P.S. Tell me what you do with them!
