Anyone know a cheaper place to stay near the Rose Garden Bangkok?

I have to go to a "posh" meeting but can't afford the resort's hotel.

Anyone know a cheaper place to stay near the Rose Garden Bangkok?
the Rose Garden is not in Bangkok, as the last person said it's about 25 km from down town and not much in way of hotels in that area.. Best bet is a hotel in Bangkok and take a taxi to Rose Garden.
Reply:I have used different websites booking at Thai owned places in BKK, the 5star foriegn places are western priced. 3star or 4star are well appointed, great breakfasts, usually a pool and gym, room service, etc. One company I can recommend is

I stayed at the Prince Palace, 4star, handy for me with the canal and the wholesale clothes, about $25US per day, but you should find out the area your meeting hotel is. From memory the rose gardens about 30km from BKK cntr.





This ones about $50, and very close to your meeting.

Personally, I'd stay in town %26amp; cab to the meeting. Enjoy your stay, I miss the fragrant, hot, noisy, vibrant city.
