The park is operated by the Minneapolis Parks %26amp; Rec. Here is a website (link below) with information about the park. There is no entrance fee. The peak season for viewing the park is late June to late September, but I believe the park is open year round. If you click on the park website on this page you can get even more information plus a map.

Anywhere I can find the name of a rose growing in my garden?
I bought if from Notcutts about 3 years ago, it had a tag on it saying it was Sophie's Perpetual, but every time I see a picture of 'Sophies Perpetual' its different to mine. Mine has almost mossy buds, darker flowers it blooms only once a year. I love the rose I have and want to find more.
Anywhere I can find the name of a rose growing in my garden?
Your best bet is to contact Notcutts and tell them of your dilemma. You can bring pictures in with you. If they didn't grow the rose themselves, they can contact the grower and try to find out the name of the rose for you. It is either truly a mistake and the cuttings were mixed and it was labeled improperly, or it is the right rose and it just looks different in your garden. Some roses behave very differently in different gardens. They will also look differently as the grow through the season.
Here is a link to Sophie's Perpetual, take a look at the "photos" and see if they are anything like yours. My mom and I both have Rosa 'Flutterbye' and they look like complete different roses and we are only 8 miles away from each other.

Good luck!
Reply:Check with the American Rose Society---they can put you in touch with a Consulting Rosarian in your area. Your rose may be a "sport" (mutation) of Sophie's Perpetual, or the bush could have been mislabeled from the grower. Try to root some cuttings---at least you know you will have the same rose whether or not you ever find out the name...Lise from Texas
Reply:Without a picture of it posted, it is about impossible to give you a correct answer to what it is. There are many variations and types of roses. You may want to look on: roses.org as they have pictures and descriptions of most types of roses.
Reply:if the tag said that's what it is then that's what it is maybe just a different brand of Sophie's perpetual.so i would just go get another Sophie.

you may be able to get them here, http://www.xrl.us/rbwe now
Reply:There are several suppliers on the internet who will supply roses by post to anywhere. I presume you mean a rose bush.
Peter Beale: Fryers are two that spring to mind. Just search for roses and they will appear. Failing that local garden centres and even B and Q may be able to help. Golden Wedding is a popular choice and stocked by most garden centres.
Reply:Golden wedding is a popular rose and should be available at
your local garden centre. if not mail order plenty of rose growers
on line.
